Midway between the New River and Gauley River, our campground provides exceptional tent camping and RV campsites and economy cabins near the New River Gorge region’s best whitewater rafting and rock climbing areas. As a result, we’re a great base for rafting, hiking, climbing, and kayaking.
You won’t find a more peaceful and beautiful setting, though we’re fewer than two miles from the junction of the U.S. 19 expressway and the Midland Trail National Scenic Highway (U.S. 60). Our friendly staff and clean showers keep customers coming back year after year.

What is geocaching?
Geocaching is an entertaining adventure game for GPS users. Participating in a cache hunt is a good way to take advantage of the wonderful features and capability of a GPS unit, and take benefit of having fun staycation in your own area. The basic idea is to have individuals and organizations set up caches all over the world and share the locations of these caches on the internet. GPS users can then use the location coordinates to find the caches. Once found, a cache may provide the site visitor with a wide variety of rewards. All the visitor is asked to do is if they take something they should try to leave something for the cache

White Water Rafting And Float Trips
Between the New and the Gauley Rivers, the white water rafting you’ll find here is some of the best in the world. The New River is actually one of the world’s oldest rivers, and has become an annual destination for beginners and experts alike. The Gauley has more than 100 rapids on its course and is a proving ground for those looking to step it up. Also, we have some of the country’s best whitewater kayak schools, based right here in southern West Virginia.
Water Activities
Time on the water isn’t limited to white water. There are fishing and boating opportunities all over our state. Spend some time on our beautiful mountain lakes, or float our rivers, and you’ll get the true feel of the lifeblood of West Virginia.
